Which universities in the USA offer scholarships for international students?

I'm trying to make a list of universities in the USA that offer scholarships for international students, as cost is a major concern for me. Does anyone have recommendations for schools known for their financial aid to international applicants?

Certainly, there are several universities in the U.S. that are known for providing ample financial assistance to international students.

Firstly, universities like Harvard, Yale, and Princeton have policies to assist all students demonstrating financial need, which includes international students as well. At Harvard, families who earn less than $85,000 per year pay nothing towards the cost of attendance. Yale and Princeton have similar policies.

MIT and Amherst College are also need-blind for all applicants, including international students. Being need-blind means these institutions do not consider an applicant's ability to pay when making admissions decisions. At these schools, any demonstrated need will be fully met as part of your financial aid package if you're admitted.

Dartmouth College and Vanderbilt University are not need-blind for international students but do claim to meet 100% of demonstrated need for all admitted students, which also includes international students.

Lastly, consider University of Chicago, which offers merit scholarships that international students can qualify for. Unlike need-based financial aid, merit scholarships are awarded based on accomplishments and do not consider the student's financial situation.

Keep in mind that the availability of aid may change from year to year, and it's always a good idea to check with the schools directly or use their net price calculators for the most accurate information. You should also remember to apply for financial aid by the school's deadline, which can often be earlier than the application deadline.

Best of luck in your search!
