Universities in the USA Offering Scholarships for International Students?

Hey! I'm trying to find universities in the USA that offer good scholarships for international students. Does anyone have experience or recommendations on which schools provide strong financial aid or scholarships to international applicants?

Sure, there are several universities in the U.S. that are known to offer attractive scholarships and financial aid packages for international students.

At the top of the list, you might consider Ivy League schools like Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. Harvard, for instance, extends need-based financial aid for international students just as they do for U.S. students. Families earning less than $85,000 annually don't contribute to the cost of attendance, and those earning $85,000 to $150,000 annually pay only 0-10% of their income.

MIT, another consistently top-ranked institution, also offers need-based aid to international students. In this case too, parents with an income less than $140,000 (and with assets not greatly exceeding that) aren't expected to contribute to the cost of their child's education.

Dartmouth College is also generous with financial aid for international students. It follows a need-blind admission policy, meaning your financial need doesn't affect your chances of getting in, and it promises to meet 100% of demonstrated need.

Schools like Amherst, Middlebury, and Williams also provide excellent financial aid to international students, and are particularly known for their commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive campus environment.

While these are just a few examples, it's important to research each school's policy as aid and scholarships can vary greatly. Additionally, most of these scholarships are extremely competitive, so you should also consider factors like your academic performance, extracurricular involvement, and the strength of your application overall. Be sure to use the resources available on each individual college's website, and don't hesitate to reach out to their admissions or financial aid offices with specific questions.
