Views on the Prettiest College Campuses in the U.S.?

I'm a sucker for a beautiful campus and I'm curious about which colleges are considered the prettiest in the U.S. I know it's not the most important factor, but stunning scenery is a bonus. Any suggestions?

Absolutely, a beautiful campus is like icing on the cake! A striking setting can truly make a difference in a student's college experience. There, of course, isn't a definitive list, as this can be quite subjective, but here are a few that consistently show up in rankings and discussions regarding campus beauty:

1. Pepperdine University, located in Malibu, has a beachfront view and is consistently mentioned due to its astonishing ocean vistas.

2. University of Virginia offers a blend of history and charm with its Jeffersonian architecture—it's actually a UNESCO World Heritage site!

3. Berry College in Georgia has one of the largest contiguous college campuses in the world, with stunning forests, meadows, and even a deer herd.

4. Dartmouth College has a somewhat rustic appeal due to its location in the picturesque small town of Hanover, New Hampshire.

5. University of Colorado Boulder sits at the base of the Rocky Mountains, providing an awe-striking backdrop to the campus.

6. Princeton University is also often cited for its breathtaking collegiate Gothic architecture and well-maintained grounds.

Remember, though, that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! It would be best if you visit these campuses (if you can) to see how you feel about them. Virtual tours can also give you a feel for the aesthetics of the campus. It’s essential to remember though, that while a beautiful campus can enhance your college experience, academic fit, community, and financial factors are equally, if not more, important in choosing a college.
