Does anyone have information on scholarships for international students at the University of Wyoming? I'm considering applying there and would appreciate details on any available scholarships.
The University of Wyoming does indeed offer a number of scholarships for international students, namely, The Brown and Gold Commitment. The Brown and Gold Commitment is renewable for up to 8 semesters (4 academic years), or up to the first bachelor's degree, whichever comes first. There is $8,000 available for students with an international GPA of 3.4 to 4.0, and $5,000 available for an international GPA of 3.0 to 3.39.
To qualify for most of the University of Wyoming awards, your application to the University is counted as a scholarship application as well - no additional forms are generally required unless specified by individual scholarships.
Please note that these scholarships, particularly merit-based options, are competitive, so it's advised to apply as early as possible and make sure your application thoroughly exemplifies your qualifications. And remember, even small scholarships can add up, so don't ignore those with smaller amounts.
Good luck with your application!
