Columbia College scholarships for international students?

I'm looking into Columbia College as an option for my studies. As an international student, are there scholarships available, and how do I apply for them? Any guidance on what's available and how to increase my chances would be great!

Columbia College does have a number of scholarships available to international students. One significant one that you might be eligible for is the International Student Scholarship, awarded to new undergraduate international students based on academic merit and a holistic review of other factors including leadership and involvement.

To apply for it, there's no separate application process. Students are automatically considered for it upon admission to Columbia College. The scholarship awards can range from 10-50% off the cost of tuition.

There's also the Columbia Commitment Scholarship (formerly King's Crown Scholarship) that is available to undergraduate international students. This also covers up to 50% of tuition.

To increase your chances of obtaining a scholarship, demonstrating strong academic performance is key. If you have a high GPA and strong test scores (if provided), it can make your application more competitive. Additionally, showcasing your leadership skills, community involvement or unique experiences can also boost your chances. If you have accomplishments in extracurricular activities that would classify as Tier 1 or Tier 2 activities, be sure to include them.
