Best universities for international scholarships?

I'm considering applying to universities that offer strong scholarships for international students. Can anyone share which universities are known to be the most generous with their financial aid packages for international applicants? It would really help me narrow down my options.

Several American universities are known for providing solid financial assistance to international students.

Harvard University, for instance, provides need-based aid to international students, which is a substantial advantage. A significant feature of their aid policy is that families who earn less than $85,000 per year do not contribute to college costs, and families who earn between $85,000 and $150,000 pay no more than 10% of their annual income.

Yale University likewise provides need-based aid to international students, and delivers 100% of demonstrated need. The Net Price Calculator can give you an estimate of what you could expect on financial aid.

MIT is also need-blind for international students and guarantees to meet the full demonstrated need of every accepted student.

Princeton University has a similar policy, providing financial aid that meets the full demonstrated need for all students, regardless of nationality.

For applicants considering Liberal Arts Colleges, Amherst College is need-blind and meets 100% demonstrated need for international students.

Finally, Columbia University provides need-based aid to a limited number of international students.

Be sure to thoroughly research the specifics of each school's financial aid policy to assess the possibility of receiving a scholarship. Most schools have a net price calculator on their website, which can serve as a helpful tool in predicting your potential financial aid. Remember, however, that this will only be an estimate. Applying to multiple schools can increase your chances of receiving a desirable financial aid package. Good luck with your applications!
