Experiences at University of NC Wilmington?

UNC Wilmington is on my list, but I'm curious about what makes it unique. I'm looking for a school with a good sense of community and strong academics. Any experiences or insights from current students?

One of the distinct aspects of UNCW's community is that it fosters a sense of belonging. Whether you are in a club, sports team, or an academic group, the university encourages active participation in student life. Many students highlight the opportunity to form close connections with faculty members, as many professors are very willing to work one-on-one with students outside of class.

UNCW's location is another uniqueness. The university is close to Wrightsville Beach, which adds an attractive dimension to the student life experience.
