Looking for Scholarships for International Students at TCU

Hey everyone! I'm hoping to study at Texas Christian University as an international student. Can anyone share information on available scholarships or financial aid for international students there? Thanks for any leads you can give!

Hi there! It's really exciting that you're considering Texas Christian University.

TCU does offer several scholarships that are open to international students. One of them is the TCU Academic Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, and the amounts vary. The good news is that all applicants, including international students, are automatically considered for these scholarships when they apply for admission, so you won't need to submit a separate application.

You might also want to look into the TCU Chancellor's Scholars Program. This program is highly competitive, and if selected, you could receive a full-tuition scholarship. Note, though, that this scholarship requires a separate application apart from your admissions application.

Keep in mind that while these scholarships can significantly offset the cost of your education, it's unlikely that they will cover all of your expenses. You should still be prepared to cover some costs out of pocket or through other sources of funding.

TCU also has a Financial Aid Office that may be able to provide additional information about available scholarships, grants, and work-study opportunities. The office might also be able to guide you on the possibility of need-based financial aid. However, need-based aid for international students can be limited, so it's important to have a backup plan.

Definitely reach out to the admissions office to ask about these and other potential scholarship opportunities. Good luck with your application to TCU!
