Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus in Madison, New Jersey offers a diverse array of academic programs and a vibrant student life. With roughly 2,600 undergraduates, the Florham campus has a small, intimate feel that allows a stronger connection to faculty and students.

As for academics, FDU Florham has a plethora of majors and minors offered within three colleges: The Maxwell Becton College of Arts and Sciences, Silberman College of Business, and The School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. You will have the opportunity to explore a variety of fields. The college is reputed for the courses in business, psychology, and communications. The faculty are known for their dedication and involvement in active learning, often pushing students for personal and academic growth.

In terms of student life, there are over 60 student-run clubs and organizations on campus. These range from professional and academic organizations, such as the Accounting Society, to recreational ones like the Anime Club. There are also various sports teams, given that Florham participates in the NCAA's Division III. Additionally, many events are held throughout the year, including concerts, guest lectures, and service projects, which provide ample opportunities to mingle and get immersed in the community.

The campus itself is tucked away in beautiful suburban New Jersey, providing a tranquil learning environment, but it's also close enough to New York City that students often take day trips into the city.

Yet every student's experience is unique, so make sure to reach out to current students or see if FDU hosts any virtual events where you can speak with them. This can provide you with a firsthand perspective, and give you a feel for the culture and environment at Florham.

Make sure to consider your own preferences, goals, and needs when looking into any college, including the lifestyle you want, your academic interests, and the type of community you want to be part of. This will give you a balanced approach when determining whether FDU Florham is the right fit for you.
