Which college at SDSU should I apply to?

I'm interested in San Diego State University but unsure which college within SDSU would be the best fit. I'm thinking about majoring in business, but I'm open to other suggestions. Any advice on navigating their colleges?

If you're interested in majoring in business at San Diego State University (SDSU), you'll want to apply to the Fowler College of Business. This college houses SDSU's undergraduate business-related programs, which include core business disciplines such as Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Management, and more.

That being said, choosing a college within a university often depends on what you want to study. If you're still exploring options beyond business, some other colleges within SDSU you may consider are the College of Engineering, the College of Arts and Letters, or the College of Sciences. Each college at SDSU has unique programs and resources tailored to its fields of study.

On the other hand, keep in mind that being undecided about your major in your first year of college is perfectly fine. Many students enter college without a firm decision on their major, and this can often be beneficial as it allows you to explore different fields of interest before making a commitment.

To navigate SDSU's colleges, consider researching more about the different courses offered and faculty within each college to get a sense of where your interests align. Additionally, you might want to look into any special programs or resources that each college offers, such as internship opportunities, tutoring, or academic advising.

In the end, the decision will come down to where you think you'll be most engaged and successful. Meanwhile, be sure to reach out to SDSU's admissions office or your school counselor for further guidance.
