Where is Binghamton University Situated?

I'm thinking about applying to Binghamton University since it seems to be a strong school for my major. Could anyone tell me where exactly it's located and what kind of campus environment it has?

Binghamton University is located in Vestal, a suburb of the city of Binghamton, in the Southern Tier region of New York State. This location is roughly 190 miles northwest of New York City.

As for the campus environment, Binghamton University is known for its lush setting on a hillside. The campus offers a blend of architecture that complements the surrounding nature. Its 930-acre campus houses plenty of green spaces designed for student recreation and relaxation.

In terms of student life, students have access to a plethora of activities and organizations encompassing a wide range of interests. From academic clubs to cultural organizations, regardless of your interest, there's a high likelihood you'll find a group that matches your passions.

Although the campus has a peaceful and natural feel, remember that nearby Binghamton City, sometimes referred to as the Carousel Capital of the World, provides an urban hub. It has an array of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, offering a balance of both campus and city life to students.
