Is the Be Bold No Essay Scholarship worth applying for?

I've seen the Be Bold No Essay Scholarship online and it seems pretty straightforward to apply. Has anyone else applied or won this scholarship before? I'm wondering if it's worth the effort or if the competition is too stiff.

The Be Bold No Essay Scholarship is one of those scholarships that many students do apply for because it doesn't require an essay, which significantly reduces the time and effort needed to apply. It's billed as a monthly scholarship which makes it appealing as you can potentially apply multiple times.

However, the most critical thing to keep in mind is the massive number of applicants due to the simplicity of the application process. Because it doesn't require a lot of time and effort to apply, the scholarship often draws applications from all across the country, increasing the level of competition.

While I don't have the exact numbers, I do know that many students apply for the scholarship each month. As such, the chance of receiving the scholarship can be relatively low.

This doesn't mean you shouldn't apply. It's worth the shot since it'll take only a few minutes of your time. Just make sure you are also spending time applying for other scholarships that perhaps require a bit more effort (like essay-based ones or ones with more specific eligibility criteria) because those will often have significantly less competition. This can increase your odds of landing some scholarship money.

Ultimately, your time may be better spent on the scholarships that fewer people are applying for, but this doesn't mean the "Be Bold No Essay Scholarship" isn't worth a shot now and then. Good luck!
