Georgia Tech scholarships for international students?

Hi everyone! I'm an international student looking into Georgia Tech and wondering if they offer any scholarships for international students. If you've had any experience with this, could you share some advice on where to search or apply?

Absolutely, Georgia Tech does offer scholarships for international students. The Institute offers several merit-based scholarships that are open to all students, including international ones. It is important to note though, that these scholarships are competitive.

One of the main scholarships open to international students is the President’s Scholarship Program (PSP), Georgia Tech's premier merit-based scholarship program for Georgia residents. While it's mainly for Georgia residents, a number of international students receive it each year. The PSP is a renewable award that covers full tuition, mandatory fees, and provides an undergraduate research stipend.

There's also the Georgia Tech Foundation (GTF) Scholarships that are awarded to out-of-state and international students. The GTF Scholarships are based on both merit and need.

As an international student, you'll be automatically considered for these scholarships when you apply to Georgia Tech, no additional application is required. So focus on submitting the best college application you can. That being said, also explore other external scholarships and funding opportunities that can be applied to any university.

Remember, however, that many scholarships are highly competitive, so it's good to have a financial plan that doesn't rely solely on getting a scholarship. International students are unfortunately not eligible for federal financial aid in the USA, so make sure you also check with your home country about any available scholarships for studying abroad.
