What are some high salary jobs with little schooling?

I'm considering different career paths and was wondering about high salary jobs that don't require much schooling. Are there particular fields or positions I should look into that meet this criteria?

There are indeed several high-paying jobs that require little formal education, but they do often require specialized training, certification, and/or experience. Here are few examples:

1. Air Traffic Controller: This job involves coordinating aircraft movement to maintain safe distances between them. While this requires an associate’s degree and long-term on-the-job training, air traffic controllers are among the highest paid employees without a four-year degree.

2. Nuclear Technician: This job involves assisting physicists, engineers, and other professionals in nuclear research and power production. It typically requires an associate's degree in nuclear science or a nuclear-related technology.

3. Dental Hygienist: As a dental hygienist, you would clean teeth, examine patients for oral diseases and provide preventative care. This position requires an associate’s degree, and all states require hygienists to be licensed.

4. Web Developer: Web developers design and create websites and sometimes don't require a college degree. However, it's essential to have a good understanding of coding and web design, often gained through online courses or coding bootcamps.

5. Radiologic Technologist: These technicians perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, which could mean x-rays, magnetic resonance imaging, or mammography. An associate's degree is typically required for a job in this field.

6. Commercial Pilot: Pilots who don't work for commercial airlines might not need a bachelor’s degree, but they do need a high school diploma or equivalent and a commercial pilot's license from the Federal Aviation Administration.

Just remember that while these jobs don't require extensive formal education, they do require rigorous training, skills, and licensure, and the competition can be intense. Always do your own research into any potential career paths before diving in!
