What are high paying medical jobs that don't need med school?

I'm super interested in the medical field, but med school seems like a lot. Are there any high paying jobs in healthcare that don't require the long med school route? Would love to know what options are out there for someone like me.

There are indeed numerous high-paying jobs in healthcare that do not require medical school. Rather, they might require a bachelor's or master's degree, or a specialized certification program. Here are some options for you:

1. Physical Therapist: Physical therapists help patients improve their movement and manage their pain after illness, surgery, or injury. They typically need a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and licensure, which generally involves 6 to 7 years of education and training in total.

2. Occupational Therapist: Occupational therapists help people with physical or mental illnesses or injuries recover their ability to perform daily tasks. They typically require a master's degree in occupational therapy and licensure, which usually requires about 6 years of education and training.

3. Radiation Therapist: Radiation therapists work with radiation oncologists to administer radiation treatments for patients with cancer. They need at least an associate degree, with many professionals holding a bachelor’s degree.

4. Diagnostic Medical Sonographer: Also known as ultrasound techs, these professionals operate special imaging equipment to create images or conduct tests that help physicians assess and diagnose medical conditions. They typically require a postsecondary certificate or an associate degree.

5. Nurse Practitioner: Nurse practitioners are registered nurses who have additional education and training, usually earning a Master's degree or a Doctor of Nursing Practice. They provide advanced levels of patient care and can specialize in areas like adult gerontology, family health, and psychiatry.

6. Physician Assistant: Physician assistants provide many of the same services as a doctor, including diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medicine, and carrying out routine medical exams. This career typically requires a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

Do keep in mind that while these jobs don't require attending medical school, they still require significant commitment in terms of time, education, and often some degree of on-the-job training. Also, any job in a medical related field will require ongoing learning due to advancements in technology and understanding of the human body.
