What are some of the best out of high school jobs?

I'm exploring my options for a job right after high school. Can anyone suggest some of the best jobs I can get with just a high school diploma? I’m not planning on attending college immediately, so I'm curious about viable career paths.

There are many excellent job options for those who choose to enter the workforce directly after high school. I'll share a few examples across different industries.

1. Commercial Driver: If you enjoy traveling and working independently, consider obtaining a commercial driver's license and driving for transportation companies. The need for delivery drivers is high due to the growth in e-commerce, and truck drivers can earn good wages.

2. Skilled Trades: Positions such as electricians, plumbers, and construction workers often do not require a college degree but may require some vocational training or an apprenticeship. Many of these jobs offer good earnings potential, especially as you gain experience and specialize your skillset.

3. Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): With a high school diploma and some additional emergency medical training, you can get a job as an EMT. This career can be both fulfilling and exciting as you'll be providing crucial emergency care to those in need.

4. Solar Photovoltaic Installer: With the growing emphasis on renewable energy, there's an increasing demand for workers in this field. While some vocational training might be needed, the job often provides on-the-job training.

5. Personal Care Aide: If you have an inclination towards helping people, Personal Care Aides work with elderly, disabled or convalescing individuals in their homes or at healthcare facilities.

6. Real Estate Agent: A high school diploma is enough to start your journey in becoming a real estate agent. Though it does require passing a state examination, it can be a rewarding job with many opportunities to advance.

Remember, many of these jobs provide training opportunities, and while they don't require a college degree, they may require specific licenses or certifications. Career advancement is also possible in many of these fields through work experience or further education and training. Whichever path you choose, strive to find something you enjoy and can see yourself doing in the long term.
