How can I find undergraduate scholarships in Italy for international students?

I'm a high school junior interested in studying in Italy after graduation. Are there any undergraduate scholarships available for international students? I’ve heard there are some options, but I'm not sure where to start looking.

Researching international scholarships can be a complex task but definitely doable. A good first step is to check the financial aid or international students pages on the websites of the Italian universities you're interested in, as some schools offer scholarships specifically for international students.

You might also want to look into organizations or foundations that provide financial assistance for students studying abroad. For example, the Italian government runs a program called Invest Your Talent in Italy which offers scholarships for selected international students who wish to pursue a Master's degree program in fields such as Engineering, Advanced Technologies, Architecture, Design, Economics and Management.

The Erasmus+ program, which is funded by the European Union, is a student exchange program that offers study opportunities in various EU countries, including Italy. The scholarships can cover part or the whole of your tuition, depending on various factors, including your country of origin and the program you're enrolling in.

Another organization worth checking out is the United World Colleges (UWC). They offer need-based scholarships for their students, and one of their campuses, UWC Adriatic, is in Italy. But remember that they only offer a pre-university (like a high school diploma) 2-year International Baccalaureate Diploma, not an undergraduate degree.

Remember that eligibility for these scholarships can depend on a variety of factors, from your academic achievements to your financial need, so make sure to review the requirements carefully. Good luck with your search!
