Scholarships for international students studying nursing in the US?

I'm an aspiring nurse from abroad and interested in studying in the US. Does anyone know which universities offer scholarships for international students in nursing? I'm looking for both full and partial scholarships if possible!

International students are indeed eligible for scholarships at many U.S. schools, and some universities do offer financial aid to students in their nursing programs. Here are a few options:

1. University of Pennsylvania (UPenn): UPenn has a variety of scholarship programs for nursing students, including some specifically for international students. Their full-need Financial Aid Initiative ensures that demonstrated financial need is met for all admitted undergraduate students, including internationals.

2. Johns Hopkins University (Johns Hopkins): This institution also has several scholarship opportunities for international students, and it's known for its strong nursing program. The scholarships may not be nursing-specific, but you can use them towards a nursing degree.

3. Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU): Offers various nursing scholarships with different eligibility criteria. International students may apply for the OHSU Foundation Scholarships and are considered based on academic achievement.

4. University of Michigan (UMich): UMich provides scholarships through their School of Nursing which all admitted students, including international ones, can consider applying to.

While not a comprehensive list, these universities should give you a starting point. Applying to these scholarships involves meeting specific requirements and deadlines, so be sure to check the official websites for the most accurate information. Make sure to also consider external scholarship opportunities as well as work-study programs to help offset your tuition expenses.
