Yale University scholarships for international undergrads?

I'm really interested in applying to Yale as an international undergrad. Does anyone know what kind of scholarships are available for international students? I'm curious if these scholarships cover a lot of the tuition costs or if they're pretty limited.

Yale is one of the few universities in the U.S. that is need-blind and meets 100% demonstrated need for all students, including international students. This means that Yale will offer financial aid packages that meet the full demonstrated financial need of every student - without requiring loans.

In these packages, costs such as tuition, room, board, and other educational expenses are taken into account. A typical financial aid award could include a Yale Scholarship (which is a gift aid and does not need to be repaid), a small term-time work expectation, and a student effort expectation (which can be met through a variety of sources).

It's important to note that Yale's need-blind admissions policy means your ability to pay for your education will not affect their admissions decision. And the fact that they meet full demonstrated need ensures that if you're admitted, they'll make sure you're able to attend, regardless of your financial situation.

The financial aid provided to international students isn't technically "scholarship" in the traditional sense, so there's no separate application for scholarships. You just need to apply for financial aid during the admissions process.

Be sure to check the Yale University's own website for the most accurate and detailed instructions related to financial aid applications for international students. The deadlines are typically coordinated with your application deadlines, so be sure to have all necessary materials submitted on time!

Lastly, remember that the size of the aid package you receive will mostly depend on your family's financial situation. Therefore, it's possible that the aid you receive can cover a substantial part, if not all, of your tuition and other costs.
