Best colleges in Arizona for undergrads?

I'm starting to look into colleges in AZ since I might want to stay close to family. What are some of the best colleges in Arizona for an undergraduate in engineering?

There are several strong colleges and universities in Arizona that offer reputable engineering programs for undergraduates.

Firstly, Arizona State University (ASU) is hailed for its engineering programs. Specifically, the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering offer a wide range of degree programs and concentrations, from Aerospace Engineering to Civil and Environmental Engineering. They're known for their hands-on learning environment and excellent ties to industry.

The University of Arizona (UA) is another institution with a strong College of Engineering, where students can choose from more than a dozen engineering majors including Chemical, Biomedical, and Mining Engineering. UA emphasizes both academic theory and practical engineering experience.

Lastly, Northern Arizona University's (NAU) College of Engineering, Informatics, and Applied Sciences is another option. Although perhaps not as internationally recognized as ASU and UA, NAU offers degree programs in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Environmental Engineering, to name a few.

Remember that while rankings and general reputations are useful, you should also consider things like culture, location, class size, cost and scholarship opportunities when deciding which college is the best fit for you. If possible, consider visiting these campuses or attending virtual tours to get a feel for what each one is like. Also, talk with current students or alumni of the engineering programs to get their perspective.
