Minimum GPA for Harvard

I know Ivy League schools like Harvard are really competitive, but what's the minimum GPA they typically accept? I'm working hard and trying to improve my grades, but I'm unsure if I'm on the right track. Any guidance would be appreciated!

While Harvard doesn't have a strict minimum GPA requirement, it's crucial to be aware that accepted students typically have very high GPAs. The majority of admitted students have a weighted GPA of 4.1 or above, and an unweighted GPA at or close to 4.0, which puts them in the top percentage of students academically.

Having said that, admissions decisions at elite schools like Harvard involve considering applicants holistically, so even if your GPA is not stellar, other aspects of your application, like extracurricular involvement, strong essays, and standout letters of recommendation, can still make you a competitive candidate.

However, I would advise you to focus on maintaining r improving your grades as much as possible. Focus on taking rigorous classes and performing well in those to demonstrate to the admissions committee your academic potential and ability to succeed in a challenging college environment. Keep up the hard work, and explore options like seeking help from a tutor if needed.
