What's the Georgetown University Location Like for Undergraduates?

I'm really interested in Georgetown University, but I'm curious about the location. How is it living in that area as an undergraduate? Is it easy to get around and are there plenty of things to do nearby?

Georgetown University is located in the Georgetown neighborhood — one of the most historic and scenic neighborhoods in Washington D.C. The beauty and charm of the campus and surrounding area, with its cobblestone streets, elegant townhouses, and the bustling Georgetown waterfront, makes it a unique place to live and study.
