ASU vs. UofA: Which one should I choose?

Hey guys, I'm having a hard time deciding between Arizona State University (ASU) and the University of Arizona (UofA). Can anyone share their experiences at either school or give me some advice on which one might be a better fit for me? I'm planning to major in computer science, if that helps!

Hey! It's great that you're considering both ASU and UofA for your computer science major. Both universities have solid programs and unique advantages. ASU's computer science program is part of the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, which is known for its innovation and has a good amount of research opportunities. Meanwhile, UofA's computer science program is part of the College of Science and tends to focus on theory, as well as providing opportunities for research and practical experience.

The campus environments and locations are also different. Tempe (ASU) is a lively area with an urban feel, whereas Tucson (UofA) has a more laid-back atmosphere with a desert landscape. You may want to visit both campuses if possible to get a feel for the environment.

Ultimately, it depends on your personal preferences and priorities. You might consider factors such as available resources, campus life, job prospects, research opportunities, extracurricular activities, and financial aid packages. Good luck with your decision!
