Exploring Christian Colleges in Missouri

Could someone recommend some Christian colleges in Missouri? I'm interested in a faith-based education and would love to hear about any schools that others have had good experiences with. Maybe a bit about their programs or campus life?

There are several Christian colleges in Missouri that have well-established reputations for offering a strong faith-based education.

One such college is College of the Ozarks, located in Point Lookout, Missouri. This college is often referred to as "Hard Work U" for its unique program that allows students to work on campus to offset the cost of tuition, providing a faith-based education that combines academics with practical experiences.

In terms of programs, Evangel University located in Springfield is known for its diverse course offerings across various fields but particularly excels in education, business, and theology. It's also affiliated with the Assemblies of God, which provides a robust spiritual life on campus with regular chapel services, Bible studies, and ministry opportunities.

Likewise, Missouri Baptist University in Saint Louis offers a wide range of academic programs and sports a vibrant campus life, with more than 50 different clubs and organizations for students to partake in, and a strong commitment to integrating faith and learning.

Though not located directly in Missouri, bordering Illinois houses Greenville University, a Free Methodist affiliated college. It's only about an hour's drive from St. Louis, and it offers a Christ-centered liberal arts education with a commitment to character and service.

Finally, William Woods University, located in Fulton, may also be of interest. While not explicitly a Christian university, it's affiliated with the Disciples of Christ and emphasizes values such as ethics and leadership, with a special focus on programs in equestrian studies.

I hope this gives you a good starting point, do take time to visit these campuses if possible, as it could give you a first-hand idea of the programs and campus life. Happy school searching!
