Even though Clemson has a considerable number of students, many people remark about the close-knit "family-like" atmosphere and committed college spirit— football weekends, for example, are a significant highlight on campus with most students actively participating.

Clemson's campus is noted for its beautiful location. It's set in a suburban area and spans over 1,400 acres. So, students have plenty of green space to study, relax, hold club activities, or even bring out the frisbees. A unique aspect is its location on the shores of Lake Hartwell, providing ample opportunity for water sports and recreational activities.

Clemson is also well-known for its commitment to academic and research prowess, but the college spirit plays a substantial role in many students' experiences. Whether it's during the thrilling football games or the various other athletic, social, and cultural events held throughout the year, Clemson Tigers demonstrate a strong sense of camaraderie and school spirit.
