Are there any opinions on North Shore colleges?

I'm exploring colleges along the North Shore and would love some feedback. Are there any reputations or programs worth mentioning?

Absolutely, there are several excellent institutions along the North Shore that you might be interested in. Endicott College in Beverly, for example, is well-regarded for its internship program and strong commitment to experiential learning; students are required to do at least three internships over their four years.

Just nearby in Wenham, you'll find Gordon College, a small Christian liberal arts college known for strong programs in music, education, and the social sciences.

Further up the coast, you'll find Salem State University, a comprehensive public institution known for strong programs in Nursing, Education, and Business.

And of course, you can't forget about MIT and Harvard, both located near the city but still well within reach of North Shore communities. While they are obviously on the more selective side, their reputations for academic excellence are hard to beat.

Remember though, the reputation of a school or the strength of its programs shouldn't be your only considerations. Take some time to visit these campuses, if you can, and try to get a sense of whether the environment and culture feel like a good fit for you.
