Is Oklahoma State University Tech a good choice?

I'm considering attending Oklahoma State University Tech in Okmulgee, OK. Does anyone know how well-regarded this school is, especially for tech programs? Trying to decide if it’s worth applying to.

Absolutely, Oklahoma State University Tech has a solid reputation, particularly as a technical institution. The programs you're interested in would be worth the application, as the school is known for its strong commitment to technical and vocational education and training. This reputation is backed by local industry relationships that result in co-op opportunities and hands-on experiences for the students, which in turn enhances their skill set and employability upon graduation.

The school's focus is on trades and applied sciences, with an emphasis on real-world applications. So, if you're looking to enter the workforce directly after graduation, or want a strong technical foundation to further your education, OSU Tech could be a great fit.

In regards to the faculty, the instructors are professionals with industry experience, which ensures that the curriculum stays relevant to current industry standards. Additionally, OSU Tech's smaller class sizes allow for more individualized attention and instructor-student interaction.

In terms of facilities, they have state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment that allow students to gain hands-on experience in their field of study. Plus, they regularly update their curriculum to keep pace with industry developments.

In terms of cost, compared with many other technical and 4-year institutions, OSU Tech is reasonably priced, a factor that might also be worth considering. Remember that it's always important to visit the campus (virtually or in person) to get a feel for whether you could see yourself there. Don't forget to consult with current students and graduates if possible, to get their first-hand insights on the quality of education and student life.
