What majors are offered at UNM?

The University of New Mexico (UNM) offers a wide array of majors, spanning from Arts and Sciences to Business Administration, but seeing as you are particularly interested in STEM fields, I will focus on these.

UNM's College of Arts and Sciences hosts most of the STEM-related degrees. Here you can find the standard array of natural sciences, such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, but also more specialized programs such as Astrophysics and Environmental Science.

In their School of Engineering, you can explore degrees like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and Nuclear Engineering among others. One unique program they offer is Nanoscience and Microsystems Engineering, which provides an interdisciplinary perspective on nanotechnology.

In the realm of health sciences, UNM is also renowned for its medical programs. The School of Medicine offers an appealing Biomedical Sciences undergrad program, which could be a solid choice if you're interested in possibly pursuing a career in healthcare or medical research in the future.

Of course, this is a simple overview. It's always a good idea to visit their official website or reach out to their admissions department to get a comprehensive list of the programs they offer and learn more about each of them. Do remember that you should choose a major that resonates with your interests and career goals, and not just because it's a "top program" at a particular university.

Feel free to drop more questions if you require further information. Good luck with your college search!
