Where Exactly Is Bellarmine University Located?

I'm looking into Bellarmine University, but I'm not too sure where it's located. Can someone clarify exactly where it is and anything interesting about the area it's in?

Bellarmine University is situated in the city of Louisville, Kentucky. Louisville is the largest city in the state and it's full of many fun and interesting attractions. For example, it's the home of the Kentucky Derby, one of the most famous horse races in the world, which occurs annually at the Churchill Downs racetrack.

Also in Louisville is the Muhammad Ali Center, a museum dedicated to the life and legacy of the famous boxer who was born in this very city. Likewise, the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory is a well-known spot in town, especially if you are a fan of baseball, given that it's the birthplace of the Louisville Slugger baseball bats.

In terms of natural attractions, Louisville is bordered by the Ohio River, which provides some nice waterfront views and activities. It also has many parks, some designed by Frederick Law Olmsted who is most famous for designing Central Park in NYC. One of these, Cherokee Park, is very popular with locals.

Around the university itself, there's a variety of restaurants, shops, and parks within walking distance. Louisville also has a vibrant arts scene with frequent music festivals and art shows. It makes for a great mix of urban and suburban life, which is something many students value. Keep in mind, though, that everyone has different preferences for what they want out of a location, so it's a good idea to visit the city and campus, if possible, to see if you like it!
