Which colleges offer real estate majors?

I'm thinking about pursuing a major in real estate, but I'm not sure which colleges have strong programs. Can anyone recommend universities with good real estate majors or share their experiences with such programs?

There are a decent number of universities across the country that offer real estate as a major, either as a standalone degree or as a specialization within a business program.

The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, as one example, offers a concentration in Real Estate. This program provides an in-depth understanding of real estate economics, legal considerations, and financing.

The University of Wisconsin, Madison also offers a well-regarded major in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics within their School of Business, which combines business and urban studies courses with a focus on real estate principles.

Externally, Florida State University houses a noted Real Estate program within its College of Business. Students learn about real estate law, property management, real estate investments, and more.

There's also the University of Southern California (USC), which has a School of Policy, Planning, and Development where students can major in Real Estate Development. Students studying there can gain exposure to both the theoretical aspects and practical applications of real estate development.

Finally, I'll mention the University of Colorado Boulder's Real Estate Center, part of the Leeds School of Business, offers a comprehensive real estate program covering an industry-focused curriculum.

When choosing your college, consider also the types of internships, mentorship programs, and career opportunities these schools can provide in the field of real estate. This can be critical in gaining hands-on experience and building networks in this industry.
