Where to Study Business in Boston

I'm interested in attending a university in Boston for business. What are the best options for a solid business education there? Any personal experiences or suggestions would be appreciated!

Boston is home to several excellent universities with strong business programs. Here are some of them:

1. Harvard University: While Harvard University does not offer an undergraduate business major, its undergraduate economics program is often seen as a pathway to a career in business. Plus, taking business-related electives and participating in business-focused organizations can also provide strong pre-professional training. Harvard also has its renowned MBA program if you're thinking of graduate studies down the line.

2. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT): MIT's Sloan School of Management offers an undergraduate major in Business Analytics and a minor in Management. These programs aim to combine the rigor of an MIT education with the applied and quantitative focus of a business curriculum.

3. Boston University (BU): BU's Questrom School of Business offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), with various concentrations ranging from Accounting, Marketing, Strategy & Innovation, to more unique options like Business Law & Ethics and Managing Sustainability.

4. Northeastern University: The D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern offers a BS in Business Administration with customizable concentrations, and the university is particularly known for its co-op program which provides valuable work experience tied to your academic program.

5. Bentley University: Located in Waltham, which is a suburb of Boston, Bentley is a business-focused university that offers a variety of business majors such as Economics, Marketing, and Accountancy. It also hosts the Hughey Center for Financial Services which acts like a real-world trading room.

All these universities have distinct advantages and different philosophies of business education. Your choice would ideally be based on your own career goals, learning style, and what type of university experience you're seeking. Remember to consider not only the academic strength of these programs, but also the opportunities for internships, networking, and student organizations related to business.
