What should I know about George Mason University admissions deadlines?

I'm trying to keep track of all my college applications, and I'm interested in applying to George Mason University. Can anyone share info about their admissions deadlines, like early action or regular decision timelines?

George Mason University operates on a "Rolling Admissions" policy, meaning they don't have a specific regular decision deadline. Applications are reviewed on a continuous basis once completed applications are received, and decisions are typically sent out within 4 to 6 weeks during the application season.

However, be aware that by rolling admissions, the earlier you apply, the earlier you typically receive a decision. So it's still in your best interest to complete your application as early as possible to increase your chances of admission.

For Early Action, the application deadline is November 1. This option provides an earlier admission decision, typically by December 15. It's non-binding, so you still have until May 1 (common decision day) to decide if you want to commit to GMU.

There is also an Early Decision deadline on November 1. This is a binding commitment and you will get your admission decision typically by December 15th. If you're admitted under Early Decision, you're expected to withdraw all applications to other colleges and universities.

Lastly, their priority deadline for merit scholarships and honors college consideration is December 1.

Hope this information helps in keeping your college application process organized and deadlines met!
