Curious about Southeastern University in Florida

I've been looking into Southeastern University in Florida and wanted to know more about its programs and campus life. What are some of the popular majors there, and how's the student experience overall?

Southeastern University in Florida is a private, Christian university known for a variety of programs and an environment that emphasizes faith-based viewpoints.

One of the popular majors there is Business, particularly their programs in Business Administration and Management. Their education programs are also popular, offering degrees in elementary education and counseling. Health professions such as Nursing are also pursued by a good number of students. Moreover, the university accommodates students interested in pursuing pastorial studies with their Ministry and Leadership program.

As for the student experience, the campus life is often described as vibrant and community-driven, reflecting the school's Christian beliefs. There are a myriad of clubs and organizations that cater to various interests, spiritual growth is encouraged through various faith-focused events, and community service opportunities are regularly available. It has a medium-size community so it's not too big that you would feel lost, but it's also not so small that you feel limited in opportunities.

Athletics are also part of the school culture. The Southeastern Fire competes in the NAIA and offers a number of sports, including soccer, basketball, and baseball among others. The school spirit runs high during games and matches, contributing to an energetic campus atmosphere.

The location in Lakeland provides a sort of best-of-both-worlds scenario in Florida--you're about an hour away from Tampa to the west and Orlando to the east, so weekend trips to beaches or theme parks aren't out of the question.

Just a note, as it is a Christian institution, keep in mind the integration of faith in its curriculum and campus life. If this aligns with your beliefs and goals, Southeastern University might be a great fit for you.
