UNT application fee details?

I'm looking into applying to the University of North Texas and was wondering about the application fee. How much is it, and is there any way to get a fee waiver? Trying to budget for my college apps!

The application fee for the University of North Texas (UNT) is $75 for domestic applicants. It's an important part of the application process as it covers the cost of reviewing your application.

If you're worried about the financial burden of application fees, UNT does offer fee waivers for eligible students. These fee waivers are generally available for students who can demonstrate financial need. You would generally need to provide some evidence of economic hardship, which often comes in the form of documentation that you've received or are eligible for an ACT or SAT testing fee waiver, that you're enrolled in or eligible for the Federal Free or Reduced Price Lunch program, or similar types of evidence.

Keep in mind, though, that the criteria for securing a fee waiver can vary and it's important to check the UNT admissions website or contact the admissions office directly for the most accurate information.

Also, just a heads up, the cost of applying to colleges doesn't just end with the application fee. As you plan your budget, you'll also want to consider test score report fees, potential travel expenses for campus visits, and perhaps even funds for a college counselor or consultant if you decide to go that route. College applications can be a costly process, so planning ahead is definitely a smart move!

Good luck with your applications!
