Absolutely, the University of Montana Western does have a unique approach to education that many students find beneficial. They utilize a method called Experience One (X1) where students take one class at a time for 18 days, then move on to the next class. This immersive approach allows students to focus on a single subject and truly dive into it.

Many students find this method effective for a few reasons. Firstly, it allows for deeper engagement with the material. You aren't juggling multiple subjects at once, so you can really concentrate on the topic at hand. Secondly, this approach often includes more hands-on, experiential learning opportunities. Because you have a full three weeks with one class, there's time to get out of the classroom and apply what you're learning.
