Best Schools for a BSN Degree?

I'm planning on pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) after high school. Does anyone have recommendations for the best schools to apply to for a strong nursing program?

Deciding on the best nursing school requires careful consideration of factors such as accreditation, NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination) pass rates, clinical experiences offered, faculty, facilities, and the program curriculum.

Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing is highly respected for its BSN program as it offers excellent course content, faculty mentoring and access to a world-renowned medical center. DC's Georgetown University School of Nursing is another great choice, especially for those interested in service and global health experiences.

For those in the West, the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) offers a solid program, and the state’s University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is also highly acclaimed for nursing.

In the Midwest, the University of Michigan's School of Nursing in Ann Arbor has a strong reputation, and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis offers one of the top BSN programs in the country too.

It's important to visit these schools (virtually or physically) to get a sense of the program's culture, resources, and opportunities for hands-on experience. Not every "top" program might feel like a good fit for you, and your personal comfort and fit with the program are very important factors to consider too.
