Has anyone attended PCCC in Paterson, NJ?

I'm weighing my options for community colleges and thinking about Passaic County Community College (PCCC) in Paterson, NJ. What's the campus atmosphere like, and are there good resources for getting started on a career or transferring?

Passaic County Community College (PCCC) has a lot to offer, especially if you're considering transfer studies or gearing towards your career. While I haven't personally attended, based on what I know, PCCC has a strong support system to help students transition into the college lifestyle and beyond.

PCCC focuses on helping students in their career prospects through its Career Services department. This includes help with resume writing, job hunting, and even interview skills. They also frequently host job fairs where students have the opportunity to interact directly with potential employers.

For those looking to transfer after earning an associate's degree, PCCC has articulation agreements with many four-year colleges. This formal agreement outlines which credits will transfer directly to the four-year institution which can help to minimize the loss of credits during transfer and associate to bachelor’s degree completion time.

Regarding the campus atmosphere, PCCC has a diverse student population and offers numerous ways to get involved. There are several clubs and organizations for students to join, from academic honor societies to cultural clubs.

Ultimately, it's a good idea to visit the campus or participate in a virtual tour if possible to get a feel for the environment before you make your final decision. Reach out to the admissions office to learn more about opportunities for prospective students to learn about PCCC.
