Can someone share what the student population is like at Villanova?

As I consider applying to Villanova, I'm curious about its student body size. Does it feel like a close-knit community, or is it more of a large university vibe? I'd love to hear about what I can expect if I attend.

Villanova University is a relatively smaller institution compared to some of the larger universities. The undergraduate student population is approximately 10,000, which allows for a close-knit community feel on campus. Although it is relatively small compared to larger universities, it still provides a vibrant social and intellectual community.

The relative smallness of Villanova allows for more personal interactions, smaller class sizes, and the opportunity to get to know professors closely. On-campus housing is also a feature that contributes to the community feel, fostering connections amongst students.

That being said, Villanova's student population is fairly active. You'll find an array of student-led organizations, clubs, and athletic teams that generate excitement and interaction among the student body. Additionally, Villanova participates in NCAA Division I athletics, which can foster a strong sense of school spirit and community, especially during basketball season.

Remember that-perception of school size can be somewhat subjective. Some students might find the 7,000 undergraduate population still large, while others might find it too small. If possible, I would recommend visiting the campus yourself or doing a virtual tour to get a better sense of what you're comfortable with.
