Anyone familiar with Manhattanville College?

I'm looking into Manhattanville College, but I don't know much about it. Can anyone share what it's like, both academically and socially? I'm interested in what the campus culture is like and how students feel about their experience there.

Manhattanville College is a private institution that is located in Purchase, New York, just north of New York City. One of the things that many students find appealing about the college is its small class sizes, which allows faculty to give individualized attention to students. Academically, the school offers a wide range of programs but is known for its strengths in areas such as Business Management and Psychology. The school promotes a liberal arts education, which means that regardless of your major, you’ll be encouraged to take courses in a broad variety of subjects to ensure a well-rounded academic experience.

The campus is picturesque, located on a former estate, and it does foster an inviting and supportive community atmosphere. Since Manhattanville College has a smaller student body, it often feels more like a tight-knit community compared to larger colleges. That said, its proximity to New York City means students also have access to the countless cultural, entertainment, and career opportunities the city offers, often through organized trips.

In terms of student life, the school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including many clubs and organizations, so there's usually something for everyone. Manhattanville College also participates in Division III athletics, so if you enjoy sports, either as a participant or a fan, that's part of the campus culture.

Students appreciate the diversity on campus, and there's often an emphasis on social justice and community service. Overall, many students regard their experience at Manhattanville positively, citing supportive peers and faculty, and an environment that encourages the pursuit of various interests.

Of course, everyone's college experience will be different, but these are some general characteristics of what it might be like at Manhattanville. I would recommend reaching out to the school's admissions office to get more specific information tailored to your interests too!
