Best colleges for Japanese and business programs?

I'm interested in combining my love for Japanese language and culture with a business degree. Does anyone know of any good colleges for this unique combination?

Absolutely! A few colleges would be an excellent fit for your interests in the fields of both Japanese language/culture and business.

One such school is the University of Washington (UW). They have a top-rated business school (Foster School of Business) that provides various specializations. In addition, they have a robust Japanese language program and even offer a Business Japanese course specifically.

Boston University (BU) features a strong Questrom School of Business along with a well-respected Japanese language program. You could major in business and minor in Japanese, or double major if you're up for the challenge. BU also hosts semester exchange programs in Tokyo, which can enhance your cultural knowledge and language proficiency.

Similarly, the University of Southern California (USC) is known for its Marshall School of Business and East Asian Languages and Cultures department which includes a focus on Japanese. USC provides opportunities for Studying Abroad, which might further pique your interest.

Lastly, New York University's Stern School of Business is highly reputed for its business program. Their comparative literature department offers a track in East Asian literature that involves studying the Japanese language extensively.

Remember, the best program for you depends on your career aspirations and interests, so research more about the curriculum, faculty, study abroad opportunities, and alumni network of these schools to see which one aligns best with your long-term goals.

Also, make sure to confirm the details from the official college websites or through direct communication with the institutions' admissions departments, as programs and offerings can change over time. Good luck with your search!
