Seeking high paying jobs with no schooling required

Are there any careers out there that pay really well but don't require any schooling after high school? I'm trying to figure out if there are viable options besides college. Would love to hear about any fields or positions to consider!

Absolutely, there are numerous fields you could consider that do not mandate a traditional college degree. Remember, it's not just about finding a job but finding something that aligns with your strengths and interests.

1. Trades — Jobs like electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and contractors can offer very competitive salaries. Some of these careers often require vocational training, apprenticeships, or certifications, but they don't necessarily require a 4-year college degree.

2. Technology industry — Tech offers some great opportunities without requiring a traditional college degree. Companies nowadays provide respect towards experience and demonstrable skills over formal education. Jobs such as web developers, software testers, database administrators, and even network administrators sometimes require certificates which you can attain without a degree program.

3. Sales — If you have a good knack for engaging with people and persuading them, sales could be rewarding. Jobs in sales can vary widely, from real estate to cars to tech. You may still require some on-the-job training or certification, but not usually a traditional degree.

4. Entrepreneurship — Starting your own business is another high-paying career pathway that doesn't necessitate a college degree. This approach requires a strong idea and a commitment to seeing that idea through, along with skills in marketing, organization, and budgeting.

5. Transportation — Jobs like an airline pilot or air traffic controller require specialized training, but not a traditional four-year degree, and they pay well above average.

Remember, these are just a few of many possibilities out there. Consider your interests and talents when deciding on a career path. It's important that you aim for a field that not only pays well but also matches your strengths and passions.
