What Are Some Top Pre-College Programs for Aspiring Business Students?

I'm looking for pre-college programs that'll help me get a taste of business studies during high school. What are some of the best programs for students interested in business?

There's a variety of pre-college business programs that you could explore. Here are four worth considering:

1. Wharton Summer High School Programs: Based out of University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, this program offers an array of opportunities, such as the Global Youth Program, which provides lectures and corporate visits for students. The Management & Technology Summer Institute (M&TSI) is more tech-oriented and combines business studies with science and engineering.

2. LaunchX Summer Entrepreneurship Program: This program is designed for high school students interested in starting their own businesses. Previously associated with MIT, this program now occurs at multiple locations - Northwestern University, University of Pennsylvania, and University of Michigan. The LaunchX program is project-based, and students work in teams to launch their own company.

3. Stanford Summer Business Academy: Part of the larger Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes, this program gives high school students the opportunity to explore areas like entrepreneurship, economics, and business leadership. Students gain hands-on experience and connect with established business leaders during the program.

4. Georgetown University Summer Programs for High School Students - Business: Georgetown's various pre-college programs in business cover topics like business leadership, international business, sports industry management, and entrepreneurship. Students also get a feel for college life on Georgetown's historic campus.

Each of these pre-college programs is an excellent opportunity to get real-world business experience and make connections in the field. Remember, though, admission can be competitive, so it's important to apply early and put effort into your application. Also, there might be financial aid or scholarships available, so don't forget to check those out as well.
