Best colleges for agri-business management?

I'm really interested in agri-business management, but I'm having a hard time finding colleges that specialize in this area. Can anyone recommend some schools that have strong agri-business management programs?

There are several colleges that have strong agri-business management programs, both in terms of their curriculum and the success of their graduates. Here are a few of them to consider:

1. University of California - Davis: UC Davis has one of the top-ranked Agricultural and Resource Economics programs in the country. Many students in this program choose to specialize in agri-business. They offer a Bachelor's degree in Managerial Economics that's geared towards agri-business management.

2. Cornell University: Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences offers a major in Applied Economics and Management, which can be tailored to focus on agri-business. The program is reputed for the robust mix of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience it offers.

3. Purdue University: Purdue's College of Agriculture offers a comprehensive Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness Management that covers subjects such as agricultural finance, marketing, and commodity trading. The program is very well-regarded and has a strong track record of placing students in good jobs in the field after graduation.

4. Texas A&M University: The Agribusiness program at Texas A&M's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is another strong program with a focus on managerial and business aspects of agriculture.

Looking beyond these options, it also might be worthwhile to consider colleges based in agricultural states - often, these schools have strong connections to the agri-business industry and offer impactful internship experiences for their students.

Remember, your choice should not just be about the strength of the program, but also what kind of college experience you want overall. Consider the location, size, extracurricular opportunities, and the general campus culture of each college as well as their academics.
