What are some top majors at the University of Arkansas?

I'm interested in applying to the University of Arkansas and was wondering what their strongest majors are. Are there any programs that stand out in particular? I'm considering business or engineering, but I'm open to other options too.

The University of Arkansas has many strong programs, but their business and engineering programs are particularly noteworthy.

The Walton College of Business is highly regarded and offers a variety of impactful programs covering various concentrations within business studies. These include Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain Management, among others. The Supply Chain Management program consistently ranks among the top programs in the country. Those interested in business entrepreneurship also have the advantage of the McMillon Innovation Studio, which facilitates collaboration between disciplines and drives innovation.

On the engineering front, the College of Engineering offers robust programs as well. Degree offerings span across several disciplines like Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering, to name a few. Notably, the Biological and Agricultural Engineering program stands out as it aligns with the university's location in a major agricultural state.

Additionally, there's also the robust program in the School of Art, funded by a substantial gift from the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation. This has facilitated the university to expand its art programs significantly.

If you're open to other fields, the programs in the College of Education and Health Professions are also strong, particularly the programs in Nursing and Education.

Depending on your precise interest, in business or engineering, I would advise you to review the department's specific programs and faculty research projects. You could also explore the opportunities for internships and co-ops in the surrounding area, which could provide real-world experience in your field of study. Ultimately, the best program for you depends on your specific interests and career goals.
