Best colleges for hotel management and real estate?

I'm curious about studying both hotel management and real estate. Are there colleges known for strong programs in both of these fields? Any recommendations would be awesome as I plan my college applications.

Certainly, there are quite a few colleges that offer strong programs in both hotel management and real estate. I can suggest a couple based on their popularity and course structure.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is well-regarded for its hotel management program, housed in the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration, which is frequently ranked among the top hospitality programs globally. UNLV also offers a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate and a minor in Real Estate.

Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration — part of the SC Johnson College of Business — is well-rated and recognized internationally for its hotel management program. They also have an excellent real estate program, with opportunities for students to interact with industry professionals and learn about the latest trends in the industry.

For a very specialized approach, you might also want to consider the University of Houston's Conrad Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management. This college has partnerships with several hotels to offer hands-on learning experiences. Additionally, their Bauer College of Business offers a Certificate in Real Estate that could supplement your hospitality education.

Just make sure while applying to look beyond just the strength of the programs, but also at fit – would you thrive in a city setting like at UNLV, or somewhere more rural like at Cornell? Also consider class size, faculty, extracurricular opportunities, and of course, financial feasibility. Best of luck as you plan your college applications!
