What are the best colleges for a degree in hotel management?

I'm really interested in pursuing a career in hotel management after high school. Can anyone recommend some of the best colleges where I could study this? Looking for options in the U.S. specifically.

Absolutely! There are quite a few excellent programs across the United States that offer degrees in hotel or hospitality management. Here are a few to consider:

1. Cornell University: Cornell has one of the oldest and most esteemed hotel administration programs in the world, and it's housed within the School of Hotel Administration. It offers both undergraduate and graduate programs and the curriculum incorporates business management, operational leadership, and asset management.

2. University of Nevada, Las Vegas: The William F. Harrah College of Hospitality at UNLV is consistently ranked among the top hospitality programs in the world. It offers a BS in Hospitality Management, with a variety of concentrations to choose from, including Gaming Management and Meetings and Events.

3. University of Houston: The Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management offers a Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. The college features a state-of-the-art teaching hotel on campus, giving students hands-on experience.

4. Florida State University: FSU's Dedman School of Hospitality offers a BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Students can choose from various areas of emphasis, including Hotel and Lodging Management.

5. Michigan State University: The Eli Broad College of Business offers a Bachelor's in Hospitality Business. Here, students gain exposure to a broad-based curriculum that includes finance, business analytics, and marketing.

Remember, the "best" program for you will depend on a variety of factors such as location, cost, class size, opportunities for internships, and so on. It's always a good idea to visit these campuses, if possible, and speak to current students or alumni to get a sense of what the program is like. Let me know if you need help with anything else!
