What are the best colleges in the US for sports business?

I'm really interested in pursuing a career in sports business and I'm wondering which colleges in the US have the best programs for this field. Are there any particular schools known for their sports business majors?

When it comes to sports business majors, several universities in the U.S stand out with their specialized programs.

One of the notable ones is the University of Michigan, which has a Sports Management program in the School of Kinesiology. This program offers plenty of opportunities for internships and networking with industry professionals.

The University of Pennsylvania also offers a unique path via the Wharton School. While they don't have a specific sports business major, you can major in Business and specialize in sports through their extensive electives and internships, offering a robust program through management and legal perspectives.

The University of Oregon's Warsaw Sports Business Center is part of the Lundquist College of Business, which is recognized for its focus on sports business. They provide students with a comprehensive understanding of marketing, management, and other business principles within the context of the sports industry.

You might also want to consider the University of Texas at Austin, home to a top sports management undergraduate major in the Management Department. Their Sport Management and Marketing degree offers students opportunities to explore areas of sport such as professional, intercollegiate, interscholastic, and international sport organizations.

These are just a few universities that stand out in the field of sports business, but there are many others with strong programs, so I would encourage you to explore further based on what you're looking for in a college experience. Keep in mind that curriculum, internships, location, faculty, club activities, and networking opportunities are all essential items to consider when choosing a program.
