What are some good paying jobs right out of high school?

I'm trying to figure out my options for after I graduate. Are there any jobs that pay well without needing a college degree? Would love suggestions on what's out there and ways to get started.

Definitely, there are a number of paths to consider for high-paying jobs straight out of high school. Here are a few options:

1. Trade Roles: High-paying trade roles include electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians. These roles often require vocational training or apprenticeships rather than a traditional college degree.

2. Technology and IT: Even without a degree, you could work in IT support or as a web developer, provided you have the necessary skills or certifications. Coding bootcamps, online courses, or self-learning can help you acquire these skills.

3. Real Estate: Real estate agents may have high earnings, especially in competitive markets. This typically only requires a high school diploma and passing a state licensing exam.

4. Transportation: Commercial truck drivers, especially long-haul drivers, can earn a significant income. Obtaining a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is usually required.

5. Sales: For those with good people skills, a career in sales, especially in sectors like insurance, can bring in a high income, especially when you consider commission and bonuses.

Keep in mind that while these roles don't require a traditional four-year degree, they still require skill, dedication, and often some form of post-secondary training or certification. Make sure to research each profession thoroughly, including its projected growth and the specific requirements for your state or region.
