What's UNLV known for?

I'm thinking about applying to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and would love to know what it's best known for academically or even in terms of campus life. Anything unique or appealing from your experience?

It's no surprise, considering the university's proximity to the renowned Las Vegas Strip—a hub of the global hospitality industry. The program's interaction with industry giants provides students unique learning and networking opportunities.

In academics, UNLV also has noteworthy programs in Business (especially considering its setting in a major economic area), Creative Writing, Engineering, Nursing, and Criminal Justice.

In terms of campus life, UNLV is a vibrant and diverse environment, reflecting the multicultural fabric of Las Vegas itself. The university hosts a wide array of student clubs and organizations catering to various interests, ensuring there's something for everyone.
