Best U.S. colleges for humanities and business?

I want to combine my love for the humanities with a business degree. Which colleges in the U.S. offer strong programs in both areas? I'm looking for a place where I can study both and not sacrifice depth in either field.

Absolutely, studying both humanities and business can provide a unique lens with which to perceive issues, combining humanistic thinking with the practicality of business. I'd recommend these colleges, as they have strong programs in both areas:

1. University of Pennsylvania: UPenn's unique undergraduate business program, Wharton, is regarded as one of the best in the country. Moreover, UPenn arts and sciences courses are also top-tier, offering depth and variety in various humanities disciplines. The highlight here is that students in Wharton are allowed and encouraged to pursue a dual-degree, combining their business studies with another field.

2. Stanford University: Stanford’s business program is well recognized, and the humanities at Stanford are among the best in the nation as well, with courses that allow students to engage closely with professors and develop strong critical thinking and communication skills.

3. New York University: NYU's Stern School of Business offers comprehensive business education. Simultaneously, NYU holds a strong standing in the humanities - particularly in fields like Philosophy, Literature, and History.

4. University of Michigan, Ann Arbor: UMich's Ross School of Business is another top-rated program. Moreover, UMich has several strong humanities departments, such as English, History, and Philosophy.

5. University of California, Berkeley: UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business is renowned for its undergraduate business program, while also maintaining its strong standing in the humanities with programs like English, History, etc.

Remember, you'll want to make sure any school you're considering offers a good balance of your interests, so research each school's dual-degree or double major policies to ensure they're flexible enough for your ambitions.
